Our team's platform focuses on continuing to build up the youth network and strengthening the OYPC. We are looking to support young conservatives across the province to keep on delivering the strong mandate of the youth wing.
Campus Clubs:
Our campus clubs objective is the continuation of a robust and interconnected youth network across Ontario, linking university conservative groups with individual young conservatives. We will continue to foster a vibrant community for collaboration and advancing conservative principles. This multi-faceted approach includes mentorship programs connecting youth with experienced political professionals, annual president retreats for leadership training and networking, amplifying our collective voice through policy discussions, and continuously developing students for leadership roles within the party.
Youth Riding Committees:
Youth Riding Committees are an essential home base for conservative youth across the province. Our team is looking to expand the YRC’s to be present in every riding across Ontario. As well, we are looking to establish regional YRC boards as a better way to connect youth and YRC members across ridings. These boards will be made up of YRC presidents in their region and facilitate regional events, canvasses, and much more. Through supporting YRC’s the OYPC can more effectively recruit on a riding level and keep many graduates and youth leaders involved whose home is far away from the hustle and bustle of Queens Park.
