Our campaign is built on a foundation of experienced, dedicated professionals who share a vision for transforming OYPC. Each team member brings unique expertise and unwavering commitment to empowering young conservatives across Ontario. Together, we're ready to lead.

Griffin St. George

President

Griffin is a third-year Business student at Wilfrid Laurier University with hands-on experience on the campaigns of Lorne Coe, Mike Harris Jr., and federal MP Arpan Khanna. He founded the Laurier Campus Conservatives and has served on both the Students’ Union Board of Directors and the Waterloo EDA, demonstrating his ability to build organizations, engage students, and mobilize youth. He is committed to empowering young conservatives by providing mentorship, resources, and opportunities to develop leadership skills and make a meaningful impact within campus clubs and the broader Ontario PC movement.
 

Angelina Covino

VP of Campuses

Angelina first became involved in politics through her work with MPP Rudy Cuzzetto in his constituency office. This experience led her to be a part of the team that re-establish the UTM Conservative Club, serving as Vice President of Administration before being elected President for the year 2025-2026. In addition to her role on campus, she serves as the Youth Riding President for the Mississauga–Lakeshore EDA and is currently interning for Minister Paul Calandra within the Ministry. Her goal is to ensure that all campus clubs have the guidance, resources, and support they need to grow, thrive, and make a lasting impact.

Youssef Essaafi

VP of Ridings

Youssef is in his 3rd year of University studying economics and finance. He has a background in defence work having experience working at Raytheon and working closely with NATO Association of Canada. He has most recently represented NATO Canada in Japan for a defence expo and at the United Nations ECOSOC Forum. He has been heavily involved with the PC party through volunteering in ridings and organizing events and will continue this 2025-2026 year as the President of the TMU Conservative Club. He strongly believes in representation and ensuring youth voices are heard throughout the party.

Jack Cowan

VP Careers and Opportunities

Jack is a student at Queen’s University studying Economics and currently serves as President of the Don Valley West PC Riding Association and Vice President of the Queen’s University Conservative Association. He believes the OYPC combines both of these experiences into one, providing a platform to strengthen youth engagement across the province. With youth conservatives being the future of Ontario, the opportunity to expand continues to be endless, and his goal is to grow membership, empower young leaders, and ensure that campus and riding voices are represented within the party.

Danica Ras

Secretary

Danica is a first year Political Science + MBA student at Wilfrid Laurier University. She first became involved in politics at age 13 and has since worked on campaigns across all levels of government, including for Monika Frejlich at the provincial level and Ron Chhinzer at the federal level. On campus, she serves as Vice President of the Laurier Campus Conservatives and is actively involved in various other student clubs like Moot Court. She started both the Law Society and Debate Team while in high school. She has also worked as an administrative assistant for RE/MAX for the past 2 years. Her goal is to enable the youth wing to thrive through effective organization and  support and is committed to making the youth wing active, engaging, and innovative once again.

Benjamin Webb

Treasurer

Ben is currently a student at UofT for Philosophy and Political Science. Through his time at the UofT Campus Conservatives he personally saw the importance of youth organizations in shaping politics. He has learned a lot both from peers and those older than him already working in politics. Eventually the youth become older and are handed over the reins. It is therefore crucial that we have supports and pathways for young progressive conservatives in Ontario. Through the OYPC he hopes to provide this support structure for youth in politics.

Katrine Onkhotoev

Director

Katrine is currently a student at UTM doing a double major in Philosophy and Linguistics, Minor in Political Science. She is interested in joining this slate because she believes in the Conservative Party’s commitment to personal responsibility, economic growth and preserving the values that strengthen our community. As a student at the University of Toronto studying Pre-Law and Political Science, she is very interested in understanding how policy and governance shape society. She wants to contribute her perspective as a student who believes in the importance of open dialogue, practical solutions, and civic engagement. Through this experience, she hopes to develop her leadership skills and help with promoting meaningful and principled change on campus and beyond.

Jake Ward

Director

Jake is a fourth-year Communications student with a minor in Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. He serves as Vice President of Finance for the Laurier Conservatives, the Communications Students’ Association, and the Association of Political Science Students. He has worked on multiple political campaigns, served in 2024 as the Legislative and Constituency Intern for former MPP Patrice Barnes, and recently in 2025 interned in the Office of the Solicitor General within the Associate Ministry of Auto Theft and Bail Reform. He was also the winner of the Premier’s All-Star Cup, a province-wide campaign case competition judged by Ministers and senior party leadership.

Alisha Petgrave

Director

Alisha is a University of Toronto St.George student studying Human Geography,Urban Studies and GIS. She is the Director of Women’s membership and outreach for UofT Campus Conservatives. Her political journey began with the Mississauga East–Cooksville PCA. She became Director of Fundraising in 2023, later taking on the role of Vice President of Volunteers. Alisha also has an extensive background in administration and nonprofit work. During the recent provincial election, she supported multiple campaigns across the province and served as Volunteer and Staff Coordinator for MPP Monica Ciriello. Alisha is passionate about empowering youth to get involved, lead confidently, and create lasting change.

Jordan Shiewitz

Director

Jordan is a fourth year political science student a Wilfrid Laurier University specializing in Legal Studies. He has been involved in politics from the age of 13 and has worked on multiple campaigns in the ridings of King/Vaughan and Cambridge/North Dumfries. He is the current Director of Events for the Laurier Conservatives, and deeply involved in volunteer work throughout the region. His goal is to expand open dialogue among progressive conservative youth in Ontario in hopes to foster a sense of community that will be crucial for the future of the party. 

Sami Hosseinpour

Director

Sami is a student at the University of Guelph, studying Criminal Justice and Public Policy, and serves as Director At Large. He got involved to join a group of passionate individuals who care about the future of Canada and youth voices. He is committed to strengthening youth engagement within the PC Party, helping campus clubs grow, and providing mentorship and opportunities for young conservatives to lead and make an impact.
